Regulator-Grade Assurance

Compliance you can verify, not just trust.

A regulator does not trust a vendor. It trusts evidence it can verify without trusting the vendor. Market Fortress is built to that standard: a deterministic, rule-cited engine, cryptographically signed attestations, and a hash-linked record, so you can check our work instead of taking our word. The links on this page go straight to the proof.

The Trust Triad

Three properties let anyone rely on a Market Fortress claim without auditing Market Fortress. Together they are the foundation a certification, and one day a recognized standard, could rest on.

Verifiable

Every attestation, filing verdict, and compliance certificate is cryptographically signed with an Ed25519 key. Anyone, an investor, an auditor, outside counsel, a regulator, can confirm a signature is authentic and unaltered against our published public key, offline, without an account and without trusting us.

Reproducible

Our compliance engine is deterministic and rule-cited. The same public filing record always produces the same verdict, computed under a versioned, fingerprinted ruleset. A third party with the record can recompute any verdict and reach the same result. Do not trust us. Re-run us.

Tamper-evident

The governance record is append-only and hash-linked: each entry is chained to the one before it, so any later edit, reordering, insertion, or deletion breaks the chain and is detectable on re-verification. Anchoring the chain root to an external timestamp, so its integrity never rests on us at all, is on our roadmap.

We find what is wrong before you file.

The assurance is not a posture. It is a deterministic engine, cited to the governing rules, that examines an issuer the way an examiner would, and tells you what it found in plain language.

The Compliance Physical

The Obligation Reconciliation Engine reconstructs an issuer's full filing history and reconciles what should have been filed against what was, with rule-cited anomaly classes. It runs at onboarding and re-reconciles on a recurring cadence.

The Flywheel

A growing library of rule-cited checks, each born from a real caught error, that finds contradictions in an issuer's own filed data (for example an arithmetic impossibility in tagged XBRL) that the official validators and the filing agent missed. Every new lesson then checks every issuer, forever.

Fact, or a question for counsel

Every finding is classified: an objectively determinable fact, or a legal determination that routes to counsel. Market Fortress computes facts and cites rules. It does not opine on the law, and nothing is filed without counsel sign-off.

The MF Compliance Certificate

A statement of posture you can hand anyone, and they can check.

A signed, timestamped attestation of an issuer's compliance posture: the ruleset it was evaluated under, the open observations and how many are questions for counsel, and a hash-linked anchor to the governance trail. It is positive, evidenced assurance, verifiable offline against our published public key. A counterparty, an auditor, or counsel can confirm it without trusting us.

It states what the engine evaluated and found. It is not a legal opinion on whether the issuer is compliant; counsel review governs every filing.

The line we never cross.

A system is only safe to rely on if it never substitutes itself for the registrant or for counsel, and never overclaims. That discipline is built in, not promised.

  • We never opine on the law. Legal determinations route to your counsel.
  • We never file without counsel sign-off. Segregation of duties is enforced at the submit boundary.
  • Our AI assists, interprets, and drafts. It never makes a binding compliance assertion; the deterministic, reproducible engine does.
  • We never assert what we cannot source. Every fact carries its evidence and its rule citation.

Where this is headed

Our aim is for filing and attesting through Market Fortress to become a signal the market relies on, the way independent assurance standards are demanded without being mandated. We do not claim a regulator endorsement we do not have. We are building the verifiable evidence, the published controls, and the independent validation that earn one, and we link you to the proof for what is built today.
